Albion to play in Dutch tournament

Baggies set for pre-season trip to Holland

WEST Bromwich Albion will warm up for the 2016/17 Premier League campaign with a four-team tournament against top European opposition hosted by Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.

The Baggies have accepted an invitation to play alongside Vitesse, PSV Eindhoven and Porto between July 21 and 23.

All games will be played at the GelreDome – the home of Vitesse Arnhem.

This will follow a repeat of last season’s week-long visit to an Austrian training camp after the players report back on July 4. 

The Club hope to close the Austrian visit with a friendly but as yet have not confirmed a fixture.

After their return from Austria, Albion will play Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough on Saturday, July 16 (ko 3pm). 

The Baggies then head to the West Country for friendlies against Torquay and Plymouth following their return from Holland.
