Under-21s aiming to get back to winning ways at Brighton

Shan’s side head south on Monday night

ALBION’S Under-21 side will be aiming to record their first victory of 2016 when they visit Brighton on Monday night.

The Baggies face the Seagulls at Crawley Town's Checkatrade.com Stadium at 7pm.

The Hawthorns youngsters held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their only league match since Christmas, but they were knocked out of the Barclays U21 Premier League Cup by Hull last week.

Boss James Shan has been disappointed with the performances of late and he wants to see a big improvement on the south coast.

He said: “I’d like to see a big improvement in our overall performance on Monday night at Brighton.

“I want to see my team dominating possession and dictating the play.

“We have had a good week in terms of application in training.

“Brighton will be brave with the ball and very resolute without it, which is how they were when we drew 1-1 with them earlier in the season.”

Come on you Baggies!
