FANZONE: Back home, finally

Look out for Brunty bucket collections

AT last Albion are back at The Hawthorns - and that means a welcome reopening of our Fanzone, sponsored by freebets.com, too.

And it will be a particularly busy place to be before the Crystal Palace clash with the Club happy to accommodate the bucket collections inspired by the supporters’ response to the unhappy events at Reading.

Genuine Baggies fans have made known their true feelings for Chris Brunt and with typical humour have come up with a much better use of ‘coinage’ – chucking them in a bucket to raise money for charities of Brunty’s choice.

The Northern Ireland man has picked The Albion Foundation, which proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Acorns Children’s Hospice to share the proceeds of the collection organised by the fans, for the fans and on behalf of the fans.

The volunteers will be stationed just inside the two entrances and will gratefully receive any spare coins bound for such good causes.

For those of you who can't make tomorrow's game, feel free to donate here.

What else?

Well, it’s a later opening than usual - 2.30pm – because of the TV-switched kick off but the giant screen will mean you don’t miss any of the build-up.

Live music is provided by four-piece Birmingham covers band Happy Accident while an inflatable football shoot-out and Bucking Bronco will keep the kids busy.

All the usual licensed outlets will be available for food and drink and entrance is gained on production of a match day ticket.

Fanzone Schedule:
2.30 - Open
2.40 – MC welcome and what going on in the Zone
2.45 – Soccer Saturday on the giant screen
3.30 -  Live Music: 'Happy Accident'
4.05 – MC: Mascots score prediction
4.15 – Soccer Saturday
