ALBION NEWS: For Saints and sinners

10 September 2015

Find out what’s in our Southampton edition

Most clubs have just the one programme. But most clubs – actually all other clubs – aren’t West Bromwich Albion and they don’t have supporters like you. So we decided we’d give you two programmes in one.

For those of you concerned with matters current, we have your beloved “Albion News” filled with interviews, columnists, reports, stats, news from the Academy and a feature that younger fans are going to love – a selection of quizzes plus Craig Dawson playing the numbers game.

And when you’ve done with that, turn it over and you get your full fix of Albion folklore in “Full Throstle”. In the words of Groucho Marx, why, it’s so simple a child of four could do it.

So on Saturday afternoon for the visit of Southampton, we have….

Rickie Lambert talking about a life in goals and his Albion ambitions.

Tony Pulis just wants to get on with the football.

Darren Fletcher makes it four out of four.

As Adil Nabi sets off for India we look at the opportunities the sub-continent offers him and the Albion.

Ronald Koeman’s Southampton come under the microscope.

We become Stoke City’s bogey team.

Tommy Langford gets Baggie Bird into a fight in Wolverhampton.

Tony Brown laughs at Graham Williams’ shirt.

Daryl Burgess shares some underwear.

We feed Geoff Horsfield. Guess what happens next?

Bobby Robson watches men putting overcoats on a goalkeeper.

We can confuse even Carol Vorderman with three managers, one season and a famous five.

And Brian Clough nearly joins Albion.

All of this and plenty more in Albion News & Full Throstle, more than just a football programme. And we mean it because we will also be including money saving vouchers in each issue through the season.

You can save £6 on a 24 game subscription to Albion News and Full Throstle.

On the day, you can save 50p on our pre-match catering in the concourses.

You can get free set up and tuning on a new TV at Hughes.

Or if you’re off to the airport, you can save 10% when you book your NCP parking.

And, as if that weren’t enough, at every game this season there will be a special Albion News giveaway. One specially signed programme will be in circulation and if you are lucky enough to buy it, you will win a prize culled from deep within the dressing room – just ask Elliot Hughes who walked away with Jonas Olsson’s boots after the Manchester City game if you don’t believe us.

As well as the usual sales points in & around the stadium, there are new locations where you can pick up your Albion News. They are:

The Sportsman (High St), ‪@TheVineFood‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ (Roebuck St), the new Supporters Club (Roebuck Lane), The Hawthorns train / metro station...1/2

2/2... Outside the cricket club, outside East End Foods car park, outside Hughes (Birmingham Road). You know it makes sense
