Albion Community Day deemed a success

17 September 2015

First-team players visit schools

JONAS Olsson and Craig Dawson visited Galton Valley school as part of the club's first-ever Community Day, organised in conjunction with the Albion Foundation.

The duo joined pupils in a PE session, before taking part in a quick-fire quiz and Q&A session.

Joining in Tuesday’s Community Day - visiting schools and centres across the Black Country and Birmingham - were a further 11 first-team players.

Albion Foundation director Rob Lake said: "The players were extremely engaging and great representatives of the Club, showing great enthusiasm and interest throughout the visits.

"The feedback we've had was brilliant and it's such a big thing for the schools to actually have a player there - it adds great value to everything we do as a Foundation to have the players there."
