25 October 2015

Youngsters also reduced to ten men late in the game

ALBION’S Under-18 side suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Everton on Saturday in the Barclays U18 Premier League.

Two goals in two minutes inside the opening 20 minutes of the encounter gave the Toffee’s a comfortable half-time lead.

The Baggies responded well after the break and had a number of chances to claw themselves back into the game, but unfortunately they couldn’t find the net.

With ten minutes left on the clock the visitors wrapped up the three points from the penalty spot, after Dara O’Shea had been dismissed for a challenge inside the area.

ALBION: Hall, Wilson, O’Shea, Piggott, Sweeney, Field, Dool, Elbouzedi, Scrivens (Pierce 71), Smith (Clayton-Phillips 80), Forss.
Unused subs: Pryzbek, Wilding, Williams.
