The Untouchables...almostAPRIL 26 1935, Wembley Stadium
Just over 70 years ago, the Baggies were preparing themselves for the eighth FA Cup Final appearance in our history, set to take on Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley Stadium on April 27.
The day before the game, players and officials took a stroll on the famous turf to soak up a little of the atmosphere andcalm any pre-match nerves. Not that it worked, Wednesday eventually winning 4-2, in spite of Albion goals from Boyes and Sandford.
But don't they look smart...
