Baggies head coach praises Leicester
TONY Pulis praised Leicester City - but admitted he felt hard-done-by over a couple of key decisions.
Pulis felt Albion should have been awarded at least one spot-kick, firstly when Jonny Evans was impeded and then when Darren Fletcher was fouled in the second half.
Both times referee Anthony Taylor allowed play to continue.
And there was also a feeling that Leicester's second goal, scored by Riyad Mahrez, should have been called offside.
First of all credit to Leicester. They played to their strengths, Vardy is a handful, he's on fire and caused us problems.
But we are really disappointed with the two penalty decisions. Jonny Evans' was one but Fletcher's looked absolutely stone wall. It think everyone would say that was a penalty.
With the Evans one, the ref was only a few yards away. I don't know why it wasn't given. But I can't take anything away from Leicester, they played well.
They say the second goal is offside as well - that was wrong, so decisions that could have helped us today didn't get with us.
