Warm up for the Fanzone

WINTER'S first cold snap may be on the way - but we’re going to keep the heat on in our Fanzone.

The Club are delighted to announce a new agreement with our betting partners as sponsors of the Halfords Lane/Birmingham Road fans park which has proved such a hit with home and away supporters alike.

And Freebets first gift to the Fanzone will be six new heaters to help keep away the chill while you lap up the attractions before kick-off.

“We like to think of this as free heat from,” said a spokesman. “We’re thrilled to be getting behind what has undoubtedly been a big hit with Baggies fans this season.”

So what’s on for the Arsenal clash?

Well, the heaters aren’t the Fanzone’s only debut-makers on Saturday. Next to the marquee – which will also be heated – we’ve got a new image board which gives fans the chance to get a snap with their favourite Baggies stars.

There’s live football on the giant screen with the Watford v Manchester United game kicking off at 12.45pm, while in and around the televised action there’s live music from a fantastic party outfit, The Decades Band.

For refreshments, licensed outlets and a variety of food, including the on-site Greggs store, should do the trick while there’s a couple of welcome faces due on the main stage around 1.30pm.

Former Arsenal player and Baggies man Brian Talbot will be joined by another ex-favourite Nicky Cross for a chat which you can enjoy while the kids are taking advantage of the inflatables nearby.

As usual, entry can be gained by production of a valid match day ticket and the zone will be open for business from midday.
