Albion head coach pays tribute to Premier League winners
TONY Pulis praised Albion for their 'great performance' but made it clear Chelsea deserved full credit for their overall title-winning campaign.
The Baggies head coach kept his post-match press conference brief following his side's excellent victory in their last home game of the season.
But Pulis was keen to pay his own tribute to the Premier League champions.
Pulis said: "I'm really pleased - it was a great performance and a great result.
"On the night we are pleased. We will finish at least 13th in the table but nothing should be taken from the team we've played.
"They've been the best side in the Barclays Premier League. They've won it by a country mile and they deserve all the credit they've received this season."
*Pulis began his press conference by presenting a bottle of Champagne to media room steward Pat Sloan, who was retiring following 20 years of service.
