Long-serving midfielder brings curtain down on seven-year stay
GRAHAM Dorrans has today completed a permanent move to Barclays Premier League newcomers Norwich for an undisclosed fee, penning a two-year contract.
The Scotland international midfielder joined the Canaries on loan in mid-February and made 18 appearances, scoring three goals, culminating in Monday’s 2-0 Championship play-off final victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley.
Dorrans’ permanent switch to Carrow Road brings an end to his seven-year stay at Albion having first arrived in the summer of 2008.
The long-serving 28-year-old was a bargain buy from Scottish club Livingston for just £150,000 and went on to make 189 appearances for the Baggies, finding the net 26 times.
Everyone at West Bromwich Albion thanks Graham for his outstanding service at the club and wishes him all the best for the future.
