Anichebe starts at Newcastle

One change from Old Trafford triumph

VICTOR Anichebe was handed a starting berth for today’s Barclays Premier League clash against Newcastle at St James’ Park (3pm ko).

The striker, who started the goalless draw against Liverpool before being named on the bench for last weekend’s victory at Manchester United, replaces Saido Berahino in attack.

Albion’s 18-goal leading scorer starts among the substitutes, where there is also a place for fit-again midfielder James Morrison. 

Albion: Myhill, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Lescott, Gardner, Fletcher, Mulumbu, Yacob, Brunt, Anichebe.

Subs: Rose, Wisdom, Baird, Morrison, McManaman, Ideye, Berahino.
