Baggies qualify for top-eight showdown
ALBION's Under-18s will pit their wits against England's elite over the coming two months having clinched a superb fourth place in the Barclays Premier League south group and qualified for the final stage play-offs.
Aaron Danks' side have excelled this season, winning ten of their 22 matches, to record a fantastic achievement and secure a spot in the end-of-season play-offs.
The top four teams in both the regional north and south group - which each contains 12 clubs - qualify for the final stage, where they will now play each other once to determine an overall winner.
The Baggies will duly face off against Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa over the coming weeks.
Danks said: “To finish in the top eight in the country out of 24 teams split across two leagues is a great achievement. The players should be really proud of themselves.
“We now have to start again and prepare right because we will be coming up against some of the best teams at this level over the next few weeks.
“It is going to be really competitive and is sure to give our boys a great test."
