Myhill and Rose set for key roles
ALBION are in safe hands for the coming months, according to injured goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The England international has given his full endorsement to fellow Albion goalkeepers Boaz Myhill and Jack Rose.
Foster has been ruled out for six months after suffering cruciate damage in the game against Stoke.
Myhill replaced the No1 for the game at Manchester City, producing a series of excellent saves.
And behind him is youngster Rose who, during Foster's absence, becomes the club's second choice keeper.
Foster said: "Boaz showed at Manchester City that you know what you'll get.
"He's an amazing keeper - there are no worries on that front.
"Some clubs would be worried about losing their first choice but Boaz steps up every time. He's getting better and I know the lads and the gaffer trust him totally."
Regarding Rose, who enjoyed a productive loan spell at Accrington Stanley earlier this season, Foster continued: "Jack came in when Boaz damaged his finger so I've seen how good he is.
"I've known him pretty much since I joined and he's a fantastic prospect, he's so quick and sharp.
"Some of the saves he makes in training are brilliant. He's quick, agile and has great feet. You see the lads actually stopping to applaud him at times. He's got a big future."
