WBAinUSA: Albion kickstart US tour

13 July 2015

Early morning start on first day in Orlando

ALBION were up before the Florida sun this morning for the first training session on their pre-season tour of the USA.

Having landed in Orlando on Sunday evening, the players were awake before the crack of dawn on Monday morning to shake off any lingering jetlag.

A 6am stretching session was followed by a short trip to the training complex of MLS side Orlando City, Wednesday’s inaugural opponents on a three-match tour of the east coast.

A 7am start ensured Albion were being put through their paces at sunrise – with a host of sharp training drills followed by an 11v11 session as the Baggies continued the recent hard work put in on their nine-day trip to the Austrian Alps.

A total of 21 players are in the US for the club’s 10-day tour:

Boaz Myhill
Jack Rose
Sebastien Pocognoli
Jonas Olsson
Joleon Lescott
Gareth McAuley
Craig Dawson
Claudio Yacob
