Two changes for Hammers test

1 January 2015

Berahino and Mulumbu recalled, Nabi on bench

ALBION showed two changes for today’s Barclays Premier League clash against West Ham at Upton Park (3pm ko).

Saido Berahino and Youssouf Mulumbu were recalled having been second-half substitutes in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Stoke.

Brown Ideye dropped to the bench while Craig Gardner missed out altogether due to a calf complaint.

There was a place on the bench for Academy graduate Adil Nabi, who was an unused substitute at the Madejski Stadium almost two years ago to the day.

Following Alan Irvine’s departure on Monday, assistant head coach Rob Kelly has taken charge of today’s encounter alongside Keith Downing and Dean Kiely.

Newly-appointed head coach Tony Pulis watches the game from the stands in east London before taking charge after the Premier League fixture.
