Strong line-up for Blues FA Cup tie

24 January 2015

Myhill, Dawson and Sessegnon recalled

TONY Pulis named a strong starting XI for Albion’s eagerly-anticipated FA Cup fourth-round tie at local neighbours Birmingham (3pm ko).

The Baggies head coach made just three changes from the side who held Everton to a goalless draw at Goodison Park in the Barclays Premier League on Monday night.

Boaz Myhill came in between the sticks for Ben Foster, both of whom formerly played for Blues, while Craig Dawson and Stephane Sessegnon stepped in for Chris Baird and James Morrison respectively.

Midfielder Craig Gardner also lined up against his former employers at St Andrew’s, where Albion were backed by a 5,500-strong away following.

Blues: Randolph; Caddis, Morrison, Robinson, Grounds; Davis, Gleeson; Cotterill, Shinnie, Dyer; Novak.
