ALBION will be backed by a 5,500-strong support for their FA Cup encounter against Blues at St Andrew's after the club's additional allocation sold out in just two hours this morning.
The Baggies were delighted to reward the outstanding support of the club's fans by announcing an extra 1,300 tickets had been secured for the fourth-round clash against their local neighbours on Saturday, January 24 (3pm ko).
Supporters queued at The Hawthorns from 5.30am this morning while telephone lines were also inundated in an attempt to try and get a ticket, which went on sale from 9am.
All tickets were duly quickly snapped up in a matter of hours, ensuring Tony Pulis's side will be backed by a bumper away following for the short trip across the midlands.
Albion were initially handed an allocation of 4,200 tickets - all of which sold out online in the space of just 24 hours last Thursday and will be posted out in due course - but Baggies fans will now occupy the entire Gil Merrick Stand (lower).
Away season ticket holders will have their seats held back until Friday, January 16 but are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible. That is on a one ticket per season ticket basis via telephone and in person from the East Stand ticket office.
The ticket office are also now hard at work satisfying the 'family and friends' placements.
Meanwhile, coach travel can now be booked for the trip to St Andrew's via telephone 0121 227 2227 or in person at the East Stand ticket office. Online bookings will be taken from Wednesday, January 14.
