Bache Group, Listers Group & Pertemps Network Group give backing
BACHE Group, Listers Group and Pertemps Network Group have all jumped on board to sponsor The Albion Foundation’s fundraising campaign for 2015, The Tri-Albion Challenge.
Brendon Batson OBE, Paralympian Darren Harris, prolific charity fundraiser ‘Blind Dave’ Heeley, our blind football team and also our supporters will take on the three-stage event, which will see the Baggies Baton travel from Southampton to the Sahara Desert via The Hawthorns.
Pertemps Network is an established nationwide valued recruiter which consistently looks to reward organisations that invest in communities, hence why the sponsorship of the challenge appealed so much.
Tim Watts, Lifetime President of Pertemps, is proud to support The Albion Foundation and said: “Pertemps is humbled to financially support the charity by donating £10,000, and we hope the Tri-Albion Challenge will majorly contribute towards the charity’s efforts.”
Bache Group have kindly donated a range of cycling kit for the biking leg of the challenge, where 17 eager cyclists will ride from St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton, to The Hawthorns.
They are a family run company which has been producing materials handling equipment for the automotive and manufacturing industry for over fifty years.
Company Director, Robert Bache, is even taking part in the bike leg, and said: “I am excited to be sponsoring the Tri-Albion Challenge. The work that The Albion Foundation carries out on a daily basis is held very close to my heart, after sponsoring their disability department for two seasons between 2013-2014. As well as taking part in the bike leg of the challenge, I am hoping that the Foundation raise enough money to top their fundraising challenge from last year.”
Listers Group, who sponsor the Sporting Club Ladies team and the Girls centre of Excellence, will be represented by Contract Hiring and Leasing Manager Lee Rabjohn.
The company is the largest privately-owned motor group in England, and act as franchise partners for Audi, BMW and Jaguar among others.
Nigel Rickards from Listers Group said: “As a family business, Listers Group recognise the importance of being part of and supporting the community and The Albion Foundation makes a huge difference to the local community.”
Special thanks also go out to Primark and Elonex who have very kindly donated t-shirts for the challenge and the use of an electronic advertising board on the M5.
