Midfielder links up with Championship promotion chasers
ALBION have agreed the departure of Graham Dorrans to Norwich on an emergency loan until March 22.
The Scotland international midfielder, one of Albion’s longest-serving players, will link up with his new team-mates tomorrow and join their Championship push for promotion.
Dorrans has been at the club since 2008, a bargain £150,000 buy from Scottish club Livingston, and his service was saluted by head coach Tony Pulis today.
“Graham is naturally eager for regular first-team football and that is something I am unable to guarantee him at the moment,” said Pulis.
“We have Darren Fletcher coming into the club and Youssouf Mulumbu back from the Africa Cup of Nations so have plenty of options in that area of the team.
“But he has been a magnificent servant for Albion. I probably know him best as an opposition manager and Graham Dorrans was always a player you respected.
“Everyone at Albion wishes him well with this fresh opportunity.”
Dorrans has made approaching 200 appearances for Albion and won 10 caps for his country.
