INTERESTING FACTS

Chris Brunt's goal and assist in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Burnley Turf Moor earned him a place in WhoScored.com's European Team of the Week, alongside Lionel Messi.

The last league draw between Albion and Swansea came 13 meetings ago when the two sides shared a goalless stalemate in 1992.

Swansea have won one of their last six Premier League matches, with Albion having tasted success once in their last eight.

Swans captain Ashley Williams, who was born in Wolverhampton, started his youth career at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies have lost just one of their seven matches in all competitions since the turn of the calendar year, six of which have come under head coach Tony Pulis's reign.

WE SAID, THEY SAID

We Said - Tony Pulis: "It's always a big week. It never stops. This will go right through, most probably to the wire. The cup tie is miles away in my thoughts. The most important thing is Swansea."

They Said - Garry Monk: "It will be another tough game for us. Tony (Pulis), as he has shown with other clubs in the past, can turn a team around and get them to play how he wants to play quickly. That's what he's done at West Brom."
