The Hawthorns Fanzone opens from midday
COME rain or shine, our Hawthorns Fanzone is proving a big hit with Baggies fans and once again it will be in full swing before Monday's Barclays Premier League clash against Newcastle.
The Fanzone, sponsored by Freebets, has got plenty to keep fans occupied in the countdown to kick-off, once again spearheaded by live music and live football on the big screen.
For the gamers, there will be a portable @EASportsDugout
and the chance to test your Fifa 16 skills while look out also for the giant Footpool challenge.
This combination of football skills and pool will provide more great fun, and with a football freestyle demonstration and basketball challenge also on the schedule...well, what more do you want?
Food and licensed drink outlets? Yes, that will be available throughout which will go down nicely as you watch two sets from Birmingham reggae band Kumari 7.
The live action is the Championship’s Lancashire derby between Bolton and Blackburn which will be up on the giant screen from 12.45pm.
And, as usual, we will have a stage appearance from another of our former player favourites – big-hearted centre-half Paul Raven is the man on the spot this time.
All in all, another great line-up for Baggies fans who have not let the winter deter them from enjoying a great build-up to the 3pm kick-off.
Please remember you will need your match ticket to gain entrance and that the new security measures apply to the Fanzone too.
