Defender delighted to find the net again
CRAIG Dawson has described Albion’s surge to 20 points before Christmas as a “fantastic achievement.”
That tally has been reached through an accumulation of five victories and five draws, with the latest point coming at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The defender, who scored his second goal of the season against Liverpool, is pleased with his side’s progress in 2015/16, yet Dawson believes they should have even more points on the board.
He said: “To have 20 points before Christmas is a fantastic achievement and one which we are proud of.
“However, as a group we feel as though we could improve and maybe we should be on more points.
“There have been a few draws that we could’ve turned into victories.
“We were unlucky not to come away with three points against Liverpool, it was a cruel way to concede an equaliser.
“The lads put in a great shift and at the very least we are pleased to have kept the unbeaten run going.
“We were dangerous from set-pieces all day and I was delighted to get on the scoresheet again.”
