Pulis hopes to reward Albion fans

Albion to be roared on by 2900 fans

TONY Pulis has called on his players to reward Albion's travelling army at Selhurst Park.

The Baggies will have just under 2600 supporters at Crystal Palace for this afternoon's Barclays Premier League fixture.

Many took advantage of the club's offer of free coaches, with some 33 buses leaving The Hawthorns this morning.

Pulis said:  “We’ve got some 2600 or so fans going to London. The club had laid on free coaches too, which is a wonderful gesture.

“We need to put on a performance for them. We still need to get 40 points so we need a result for ourselves too.”

Pulis is considering naming Callum McManaman for the south London fixture.

"He's exactly the type of player we need," said Pulis.

"He did well on Tuesday by all accounts and he comes into the reckoning for today's game.

"Callum gives us that something extra and is the type of player who can get a crowd going."
