Freebets analyse Boaz
FREEBETS take a look at the performance of our Wales international ‘keeper, Boaz Myhill.
Boaz Myhill has held down the goalkeeper position at Albion since he came off the bench to replace Ben Foster against Stoke City in mid-March.
A knee injury to the England international ruled him out of action for the remainder of the 2014/15 campaign.
Myhill was given the nod by Tony Pulis to start at Manchester City the following week, and despite the 3-0 scoreline in favour of the hosts, the 32-year-old earned rave reviews with some exceptional saves.
He has continued to play a key role in the side and has kept back-to-back clean sheet in the last two games against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
Freebets have taken a closer look at Myhill’s stats prior to the trip to Old Trafford on Saturday, May 2 (5.30pm ko).
He led the Barclays Premier League standings with an average of five saves per game and more than half of his save had been from efforts inside the penalty area, including three important blocks inside the six-yard-box.
Labelled as an ‘amazing goalkeeper’ by Ben Foster, Myhill also average’s 55 touches of the ball during games.
