Club legend working with Albion under-21s
KEMAR Roofe has hailed the impact of club hero Darren Moore, after the former captain re-joined Albion in September.
‘Big Dave’ works closely with Albion’s under-21 squad, of which Roofe has been a key member in recent seasons.
The 21-year-old Academy graduate impressed during pre-season for Alan Irvine’s men, and scored in the 3-2 defeat at Port Vale.
But Roofe is glad that he can call on Moore’s experience whenever he requires it.
“Mooro has come in and he brings a lot of experience,” said Walsall-born Roofe.
“He has been there and done that.
“If I have got any problems or issues I want to go to him with, he will have the answer because he has probably gone through a similar thing himself.”
