Tottenham U21 5 Albion U21 2

Baggies beaten at Spurs training centre

ALBION suffered a 5-2 defeat at Tottenham in the Barclays U21 Premier League this afternoon.

Kemar Roofe netted either side of half-time but goals from Connor Ogilvie, Shaq Coulthirst and Kenny McEvoy, in addition to a Harry Kane brace, saw the hosts claim all three points.

"We're disappointed, especially with the manner of the goals we conceded," said senior professional development coach, David Oldfield.

"From our point of view they were soft goals.

"We need to do better as a group.

"We need to defend our box better and have more of a threat in the opposing box."
