And keeper in no doubt there's plenty of fight left in Baggies
BEN Foster insists results against the teams around Albion in the Barclays Premier League table will define their season.
The England goalkeeper was speaking after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat by Manchester United that left the Baggies precariously perched just above the relegation zone on goal difference, with ten games remaining.
But Saturday's trip to Swansea (ko 3pm) kicks off a run of four games against teams in the bottom eight Foster says Albion must turn to their advantage in the battle for survival.
“At the start of the season when you look to pick up points, you consider games against Arsenal, Chelsea and United as bonus points, there’s 14 other teams like that as well," he said.
"For the rest, it’s a scrap and those are the ones you look to get points from, not only to push yourself up but to keep them down too.
“It’s not nice but there’s probably about ten teams still in it.
"We need to be one of the teams that take advantage against that opposition."
And the 30-year-old custodian has no doubts there is still plenty of fight left in the Baggies camp.
"I like the group of lads that we’ve got here, we work for each other," he added.
"We haven’t got any individuals, we’re a team.
"We go a goal down and you don’t see any of our players with their heads down."
