Seats for 2014/15 on general sale
ALBION today praised the backing of their supporters – as season ticket sales hit the 16,000 mark.
The club have frozen prices for the second successive campaign and the number of season tickets sold is virtually identical with the same stage 12 months ago.
Season tickets are now on general sale. For the first time, new applicants can buy online and supporters who book their seat via www.wbatickets.co.uk will pay £10 less than those who apply in person, by phone or post.
Chief executive Mark Jenkins said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the backing the supporters are giving the club.
“We made big reductions to our season ticket prices for 2012/13 to make our home games as accessible as possible to the next generation of supporters and have kept costs at the same level since.
“We believe our season tickets offer great value but the fact we have already sold 16,000 owes as much to the loyalty of our supporters.”
For the third season running, adult prices start at only £349, under-17s at £99, under-21s/students at £199 and seniors at £269 – if bought online. These prices apply to all seats in the two stands behind the goals – the Birmingham Road End and Smethwick End.

The 2014/15 prices are almost 20 per cent cheaper than that which the club charged nine years ago.
Once again, the club are not charging a booking fee for season ticket applications (excluding season tickets bought via direct debit).
To help supporters spread their payment, a ten-month direct debit option is available online ONLY. Supporters can access this option as part of the purchasing process at www.wbatickets.co.uk.
A nine-month interest free payment option is also available to anyone who purchases a season ticket with an Albion Mastercard.**
Season ticket holders should note that their current Stilecards will remain valid if they purchase a 2014/15 season ticket. It will automatically be updated. Only season ticket holders who change age category or seat will receive a new Stilecard during the close season.
