Mel dedicates Norwich win to fans

Boss hails Baggies' travelling army

PEPE Mel has dedicated today’s crucial 1-0 win over Norwich to the Albion fans who made the long trip to Carrow Road.

The Baggies were backed by a sell-out 2,500 army of supporters, with up to 2,000 of them ferried to Norfolk thanks to free coach travel provided by the club.

And they made their presence felt – singing from beginning to end to help spur their team to a victory that lifts them five points clear of the bottom three, with six games remaining.

“We’re extremely happy at winning the game and we’d like to dedicate the victory to the West Brom fans,” said Mel.

“The West Brom fans are incredible, unbelievable, every week, every match.

“They are very, very kind with the players and very, very kind with me.

“They are good, good fans.

“I have only been here three months but in my heart are the West Brom fans.”
