Mel makes two changes - one enforced - to starting XI

PEPE Mel makes two changes – one enforced – to the side that drew 3-3 with Tottenham nine days ago.

Craig Dawson comes in for the injured Gareth McAuley (calf) and Billy Jones is handed his first start since suffering a hamstring injury against Fulham two months ago.

Steven Reid drops to the bench.

Jonas Olsson has recovered from the Achilles problem that forced him off in the 77th minute against Spurs and takes his place at the heart of defence.

James Morrison returns among the substitutes after missing the last game due to an ankle problem.

Manuel Pellegrini makes three changes to the City team that drew 2-2 with Sunderland on Wednesday.

Aleksandar Kolarov, James Milner and Alvaro Negredo drop to the bench, with Gael Clichy, David Silva and Edin Dzeko coming in.
