Albion extend adidas deal

adidas to remain Technical Partner and official supplier of all kit

WEST Bromwich Albion is delighted to announce it has signed a two-year contract extension with leading kit manufacturer adidas.

adidas will remain the Club's Technical Partner and the official supplier of all playing and training kit – which will be sold at the Stadium Megastore, Merry Hill Centre Club Store and online at wbashop.co.uk – for the next two seasons.

Albion joined forces with adidas at the beginning of the 2011/12 campaign and the Club has enjoyed some of its best-ever shirt sales during the past three seasons.

The Baggies' new home and away strips for 2014/15, which will be launched in the coming weeks, will feature adidas ClimaCool™ technology – a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones.

Albion remain part of an impressive stable of clubs which boast exclusive kit deals with adidas, including Real Madrid and Chelsea – plus reigning World and European champions Spain.

Albion Chief Executive, Mark Jenkins, said: "We have enjoyed an extremely successful partnership with adidas over the past three years and are looking forward to working with such a leading worldwide brand for a further two seasons.

“adidas is renowned for the design and quality of its sportswear and this has culminated in a club-record turnover in our retail stores this season.

"We are now looking forward to unveiling our new adidas home and away kits and training gear in the coming weeks."

Nick Craggs, Brand Director adidas North Europe, added: “We are delighted to be extending our successful partnership with West Bromwich Albion.

“During this time, the Club has become a highly-competitive side in the Barclays Premier League and we are proud to have been part of that success.

“We look forward to continuing that partnership for many years to come.”
