Clarke faces striker headache

But boss delivers good news on two key midfielders

STEVE Clarke has revealed he has a striker headache ahead of Sunday’s clash with Arsenal (ko 4pm).

The Baggies boss has fitness concerns over Victor Anichebe, Shane Long and Nicolas Anelka, whose chances of being fit to face the Gunners he rates respectively at 60/40 against, 50/50 and 60/40 for.

James Morrison and Chris Brunt have been declared fit for the Hawthorns encounter.

But Albion will be without Scott Sinclair and Matej Vydra (both hamstring) until after the international break.

Meanwhile, Ben Foster (foot) remains sidelined and the visit of Arsene Wenger’s men comes too soon for Zoltan Gera and George Thorne as they continue their comebacks from long-term knee injuries.
