Job Description:
As the Retail Supervisor you be responsible for assisting in the operational efficiency of our Retail Store within The Merry Hill Centre, Dudley, working as part of a small management team. This is a ‘hands-on role’ and therefore requires previous experience in a similar role.
The Retail Supervisor will support and deputise for the Shop Manager in their absence, answering telephone and e-mail enquiries@wbafc.co.uk, resolving customer issues and handling all general merchandising work as required.
You will manage cash, banking and credit card transactions, assist in training other staff members, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, security of the Premises and ensuring the Health & Safety of all customers and staff.
The ideal Retail Supervisor will have previous retail experience in a face to face shop sales environment with good communication skills and an engaging customer manner. Product training will be offered but any knowledge of the sports retail trade would be preferred.

The following is essential:
Minimum 2 years as a Retail Supervisor
Have an excellent customer focussed background
Excellent planning, organisational, delegation and communication skills
Knowledge in health and safety and security
The ability to motivate and assist in the training of a large sales team
Strong analytical skills
