Man City v Albion - team news

Clarke makes four changes to his starting XI

CRAIG Dawson is handed his first Barclays Premier League appearance of the season as Steve Clarke makes four changes to the side that lost 3-2 to Wigan on Saturday.

Boaz Myhill and Gabriel Tamas also make rare starts as the Baggies boss rings the changes for the second of three games in eight days.

James Morrison is recalled to the starting line-up and slots into a five-man midfield in a 3-5-2 formation.

The men to make way are Ben Foster, Gareth McAuley, Graham Dorrans and Shane Long, who are all among the substitutes.

Steven Reid returns from injury to take his place on the bench, while Jerome Thomas and Isaiah Brown lose their places.

Roberto Mancini makes eight changes to the City line-up with Saturday’s FA Cup final in mind.

The only survivors from Saturday’s goalless draw at Swansea are Joe Hart, James Milner and Samir Nasri.

Matija Nastasic, Gareth Barry, David Silva and Sergio Aguero all drop to the bench, while the others to make way - Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Gael Clichy and and Yaya Toure - are left out altogether.
