Dorrans makes injury comeback

And see how Albion's other internationals fared

GRAHAM Dorrans gave Albion a boost by returning from injury to play 63 minutes in ten-man Scotland’s 2-1 defeat by Wales in their World Cup qualifying Group A clash at Hampden Park last night.

The Baggies midfielder made his comeback after missing last Saturday’s goalless draw at Stoke due a slight calf strain.

Unfortunately, he was forced to concede the bragging rights to Hawthorns team-mate Boaz Myhill, who played the full game for the Dragons as they came from behind to win.

In the same group Romelu Lukaku was an unused substitute for Belgium as they beat Macedonia 2-0 to go top of the table on goal difference.

In Group C Shane Long played 87 minutes and Jonas Olsson the entire game as the Albion team-mates went head to head in the goalless draw between the Republic of Ireland and Sweden in Solna.

Ben Foster was an unused substitute for England as they thrashed San Marino 8-0 in Group H.

Gabriel Tamas played 90 minutes for Romania as they twice came from behind in their Group D encounter to draw 2-2 with Hungary in Budapest.

Chris Brunt and Gareth McAuley’s game for Northern Ireland against Russia in Belfast was postponed due to the bad weather.
