Long and Lukaku start together in attack as Clarke makes three changes

FIT-AGAIN Shane Long is recalled as Steve Clarke pairs him with Romelu Lukaku in a Barclays Premier League starting XI for only the second time this season.

The duo were last partnered from kick-off in November’s 2-1 at Wigan.

Steven Reid makes his first start in almost two months after fully recovering from a fractured fibula and is another one of the three changes Clarke has made to the side that lost 2-1 at Everton on Wednesday.

Claudio Yacob is also restored to the Baggies boss’ line-up for his second start since December 1 after making his comeback from a shoulder problem as a substitute at Goodison Park in midweek.

The trio to make way are benched duo Jerome Thomas and Billy Jones, and injury victim George Thorne (knee).

Youssouf Mulumbu misses out altogether due to a knee injury.

Andre Villas Boas names an unchanged Spurs team to the one that drew 1-1 at Norwich in midweek.
