Girls Training Centres and Camps

11th August

The Albion Foundation Girls Team 22/23

The Albion Foundation will have teams competing within the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League (CWGFL) for the 2022/23 season, and we are searching for footballing youngsters to join our sides.

We are looking for players at Under 10's, Under 11's and Under 12's level, to compliment current squads.

Players will need to commit to a midweek training session and Saturday morning match days.

Each team will be coached by FA and UEFA-Licensed Coaches with the aim to help bridge the gap between Grassroots and Regional Talent Club Football, offering opportunities to the local community.

The Albion Foundation’s CWGFL Teams boast a strong relationship with West Bromwich Albion FC’s Regional Talent Club. Players will be offered the chance to move up the footballing pathway when they are ready to do so, with development of players being the main focus for our coaches.

Successful players will also have access to opportunities such as a Half-Term Games Programme, Match-Day Packages, Fixtures against other Professional Football Clubs and Fixtures against other Grassroots Football Clubs.

Player Development Centres

The Albion Foundation offers a female development pathway, to support local grassroots clubs by providing their players with additional training evening with our qualified Albion Foundation coaches and football camps during school holidays.

We hope to provide a pathway to support females between the ages of 8-18 of all abilities, with specialised sessions within each area of our player pathway.

At the Albion Foundation we have teams that compete within the Central Warwickshire Girls league representing WBA FC at the under 16s, 11s and 10s age groups.

Alongside these teams, we also offer a Player a development training programme, that is delivered throughout 30 weeks of the season, to help create an environment where players can reach their potential.

Mondays, during Term Time at George Salter Academy:

6:30 - 7:30pm Player Development Academy – invite only
