LIAM O'Neil was rewarded for his progress with a new Albion deal in May 2014.
The 20-year-old midfielder will officially put pen to paper on a one-year contract, plus a further year’s option in the club’s favour, on July 1.
It is another huge boost for the Baggies Academy product, who was handed his Barclays Premier League debut as a substitute in the dying moments of March’s crucial 2-1 win at Swansea.
He went on to make two further appearances from the bench, against Norwich and Stoke.
The tenacious central midfielder, born in Cambridge, signed from Blue Square Premier League outfit Histon and joined Albion's Academy.
He gained professional experience during a loan spell at Finnish club VPS in summer 2012.
