JONNY Evans completed his move to Albion from Manchester United in August 2015.

* The versatile defender signed for an undisclosed fee and penned a four-year deal after undergoing a medical at the club's training ground.

* He was voted Players' Player of the Season by his Albion team-mates after a hugely impressive debut campaign at The Hawthorns.

* Evans is an established Northern Ireland international who has racked up over 50 caps for his country.

* He spent eight years at Manchester United, coming through the club's successful Academy before making 198 first-team appearances in all competitions during his time at Old Trafford.

* Evans is already well-known to several Albion players. His neighbour and close friend is current Baggies captain Darren Fletcher, while he counts James Chester and Ben Foster among his former United team-mates. He is also an international colleague of Chris Brunt and Gareth McAuley.

* Evans made 34 appearances in 2015/16, scoring a dramatic injury-time winner to secure a 2-1 victory over Stoke City on January 2.

* He was a key member of the Northern Ireland side who reached the round of 16 at the European Championship in France 2016.
