England youth international Jonathan Leko burst onto the scene towards the end of the 2015/16 Premier League season.
• Leko joined Albion at the age of 11 and signed his first professional contract in June 2016, agreeing a three-year-deal at The Hawthorns running until summer 2019.
• Having previously made his League Cup bow off the bench in September against Norwich City, Leko made his Premier League debut for the Baggies aged 16 when he appeared as a 78th-minute substitute in the goalless draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in early April.
• Leko again appeared off the bench away at Manchester City before then making an impressive full debut in the league defeat to West Ham United at The Hawthorns.
• The England youth international capped off a memorable breakthrough 2016/17 campaign by being named Albion's Young Player of the Season.
