THE ULTIMATE SIX-PACK: Scott Carson

Posted on: Tue 09 Feb 2010

HERE at www.wba.co.ukwe are putting Baggies players past and present, plus the coaching staff, through a spot of body building this season.

In our new feature for the 2009/10 campaign, Roberto Di Matteo's men have been handed the mission of creating the 'Ultimate Six-Pack'.

They will receive a list of six body parts and for each one must name a player they consider to have excelled with that physical attribute.

This week Baggies skipper Scott Carson gives his views:

1. Head:

SC: Alan Shearer. I watched him play when I was growing up and remember him scoring a lot of goals with his head and being good in the air.

2. Eyes (vision):

SC: Ronaldinho. He can be looking one-way and shoot the other. He always knows what's going on and sees everything.

3. Hands:

SC: Gianluigi Buffon. He is still at Juventus. He was one of my heroes when I was younger and I think he is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

4. Legs (stamina):

SC: Frank Lampard. He has the consistency in his game and always seems to be fully fit. He rarely misses a match and plays two games most weeks.

5. Right foot:

SC: David Beckham. He is probably the best crosser in the world and his ability to find passes is brilliant. There is no-one with a right foot as dominant as his.

6. Left foot:

SC: Ryan Giggs, especially when he was younger. Everyone would talk about his left foot. He can dribble just with his left foot and is one of the most dominant left-footed players in the game.
