THE ULTIMATE SIX-PACK: Richie Rawlins

Posted on: Tue 12 Jan 2010

HERE at www.wba.co.uk we are putting Baggies players past and present, plus the coaching staff, through a spot of body building this season.

In our new feature for the 2009/10 campaign, Roberto Di Matteo's men have been handed the mission of creating the 'Ultimate Six-Pack'.

They will receive a list of six body parts and for each one must name a player they consider to have excelled with that physical attribute.

This week, Baggies physio Richie Rawlins gives his views:

1. Head:

RR: Alan Shearer. I thought he used to be unbelievable. He was very powerful.

2. Eyes (vision):

RR: Paul Scholes. Every time he gets the ball he knows exactly where it's going to go.

3. Hands:

RR: Peter Schmeichel. When Manchester United won the treble he was inspirational to me.

4. Legs (stamina):

RR: Bryan Robson. He could run all day, he had outstanding fitness.

5. Right foot:

RR: Pele. He was the best player in the world. He could use both feet but his right foot was amazing.

6. Left foot:

RR: Lionel Messi. He is the best player in the world right now for me. His skill is unbelievable.
