Albion announce matchday ticket prices

Posted on: Wed 01 Jul 2009

ALBION have today announced matchday ticket prices for 2009/10.

But it's not too late for fans to take advantage of the club's frozen season ticket prices.

Matchday prices will vary around the ground next season and are at the same level as the Baggies' last Coca-Cola Championship campaign two years ago.

The only exceptions are a small increase in the refurbished West Stand, where only adult tickets will be available, and a reduction in the Upper East Stand.

The cheapest tickets available at Albion league games are now priced at £23 adults, £14 seniors, young adults and students, and £11 juniors and disabled (see below for full list of matchday ticket prices).

Albion have already sold more than 16,000 season tickets.

Baggies finance director Mark Jenkins said: "We're absolutely delighted that so many supporters have already committed themselves to the club for next season.

"The fact we have sold more than 16,000 season tickets amid the current recession underlines the loyalty of our fans.

"We want to say a big thank you to all those who have bought a season ticket and remind all other supporters they can still apply for a season ticket and make substantial savings on matchday prices.

"We were also very mindful of the credit crunch when we finalised our 2009/10 matchday prices, which have been set at the same level as the last time we were in the Championship."

Supporters can still snap up an adult season ticket and make an average saving of 32 per cent on matchday prices throughout the season.

For example, an adult season ticket in the Birmingham Road End will cost £349, saving £180 on matchday prices and offering the equivalent of approximately eight FREE games.

Fans are also being urged to act fast if they want to take advantage of the £49 junior season ticket offer for the 2009/10 campaign.

The club have a limited number of these tickets left, which are only available when purchased with a full-paying adult season ticket.

The remaining season ticket seats are available at The Hawthorns' East Stand ticket office. See below for a full price list and, for further information, click here.
