SUPPORTERS planning to buy a 2008/09 season ticket but have yet to add their name to the club's waiting list risk missing out on a Barclays Premiership seat.

Around 1,300 fans have now added their names to the club's season ticket waiting list.

With only 1,600 of last term's non-corporate season ticket holders yet to renew, there are potentially only a maximum of 300 seats up for grabs.

This number will decrease with every 2007/08 season ticket holder who renews between now and the renewal deadline of 1pm on Friday, May 30.

Therefore, fans are urged to add their name to the club's season ticket waiting list as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The demand for season tickets has already reached club record proportions.

Almost 20,000 season tickets have been snapped up.

The club sold out of the 5,000 season tickets they had available to new applicants over three weeks ago.

After the season ticket renewal deadline, any seats which have not been renewed will be made available to season ticket holders who have renewed and wish to relocate their seat.

Thereafter, they will go on sale to supporters who have added their names to the waiting list. These fans will be contacted by box office staff from early June.

Season tickets will only go on general sale once the requests of all supporters on the waiting list have been satisfied - IF STOCKS LAST.

Supporters are urged to stay tuned to www.wba.co.uk throughout the coming weeks for further updates.

Albion's current record for the number of season tickets sold was set in 2004/05, when 20,500 were snapped up.
