BROWN signed a one-year deal, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, in the summer.
He made a total of 11 appearances in short loan spells at Tranmere, Dagenham & Redbridge and Port Vale last term.
The Birmingham-born winger was called up to the Baggies bench for their 2-2 FA Cup fifth-round draw at Reading in February 2010 after an injury to Andy Slory in the warm-up.
His scholarship was extended into a third year the following May before joining Icelandic top-flight outfit Keflavik until mid-June.
He made 13 reserves starts in the 2009/10 campaign.
He is a Wales Under-19s international.
He is tall, quick, strong and athletic. He is left-footed and has added scoring goals to his game. He holds the ball up well and turns and gets at people.
