The Viktoria Plzen keeper, who was brought in to provide competition for Dean Kiely, will now stay on at The Hawthorns until January 1.
And Tony Mowbray is hoping the fact Danek has already had chance to settle in will prove a big benefit when he pushes to make his first senior appearance for the club during the new season.
Albion will have an option to buy the giant stopper at the end of his extended loan spell.
Tony Mowbray firmed up his interest in the Czech keeper after seeing him at close quarters during a short training spell at the club in January 2008.
