ALBION completed the £230,000 capture of Beira Mar left-back Tininho in July 2007.
The Portuguese national earned a two-year Hawthorns contract, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, following a successful trial spell.
He joined the Baggies for a few days' training and played the full 90 minutes in a 5-1 friendly win at Northampton, helping set up two goals.
Tininho, who was born in Mozambique, became Albion's second import from Portugal in a week during the summer of 2007, following hot on the heels of Filipe Teixeira's arrival.
However, he was restricted to just three appearances during his first five months at the club by the form of Paul Robinson and joined Barnsley on a month's loan on January 14, 2007.
