MARC-ANTOINE Fortuné returned to the Baggies by signing a two-year deal, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, on August 27, 2010.
And just two days later the French-Guyana forward kicked off his second spell with the club by starting the Baggies' 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.
He found himself on the periphery last term as he was restricted to 14 top-flight starts - but his two goals proved vital as they came in a 2-1 Hawthorns win over Fulham and 2-2 home draw with Wigan.
He moved from Celtic, where he notched 12 goals in 30 starts for the SPL giants, for an undisclosed fee.
Fortuné became a popular figure with Albion fans during his first spell at the club, when he spent the second half of the 2008/09 top-flight campaign on loan from French side Nancy, scoring five goals in 17 top-flight starts.
He scored on his initial Baggies debut in a 3-0 home Barclays Premier League win over Middlesbrough just two days after arriving at The Hawthorns in January 2009.
He joined Nancy in 2007 and his six goals last term helped them finish fourth and qualify for the UEFA Cup.
He began his career with a four-year stint at French side Angouleme and has also enjoyed spells with Lille, Rouen (loan), Brest and Utrecht.
