ALBION completed a deadline day swoop for Feyenoord attacking midfielder Andwele Slory on a free transfer in January 2010.
The Dutch international penned a five-month contract, plus a further year's option.
Andwele, who prefers to be called Andy, spent the previous two-and-a-half seasons at Dutch Eredivisie giants Feyenoord.
Until his move to England he spent his entire career in Holland, which began with a four-year stint at Telstar.
The Surinam-born player joined Excelsior in 2005 and his 26 goals in two seasons earned him his big move to Feyenoord, where he made 50 appearances, scoring seven times.
Slory's excellent form during his second season at Excelsior also earned him a call-up from Holland national coach Marco Van Basten.
He won his two caps to date during the Netherlands' tour of Asia in the summer of 2007, playing against South Korea and Thailand.
After entering the final few months of his Feyenoord contract, Slory opted for a new challenge at The Hawthorns.
